Job Overview TekFive is seeking a Military Medical Data Analyst to provide subject matter expertise and conduct data management and analysis related to military medical systems, patient treatment protocols and expeditionary medical treatment facility operations as a part of our Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) team.
The NHRC team provides software engineering, model and simulation development, analysis, technical support, and training to support medical systems analyses, logistics analyses, operational risk assessments, and theater medical course of action assessments across the Department of Defense (DoD).
In partnership with NHRC, TekFive develops the Medical Planners’ Toolkit (MPTk) and the Joint Medical Planning Tool (JMPT). MPTk is a suite of tools that provide military medical support planning. JMPT is a discrete event simulation model of casualty treatment and evacuation in the expeditionary environment. TekFive also develops the Expeditionary Medical Knowledge Warehouse (EMedKW), a database application used to manage the data that supports MPTk and JMPT.
MPTk and JMPT are DoD accredited and the primary modeling tools for DoD expeditionary medical systems analysis. This analysis affects operational plans and influences future capabilities development across the military services. Together, these tools allow medical planners across the DoD to more effectively allocate resources, assess risks, estimate casualties, and determine mission readiness.

The Instrument Test Technician II conducts production testing of assembled flow cytometers and related medical device products. The technician performs system-level and subassembly-level troubleshooting to identify root causes of failures and implements corrective actions related to assembly or material defects.
