General Responsibilities:

The Graphical Content Meteorologist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality graphical content that supports operational weather storytelling across client systems. The position combines meteorological expertise with technical graphic production, system preparation, and quality control, contributing to both routine operations and special content initiatives. Working closely with internal teams, the Graphical Content Meteorologist prepares content for client upgrades or new installations, identifies opportunities for advanced automation, and assists with other graphical requests and updates from concept through delivery. The position also contributes to special graphics releases, presentations, and internal briefings, while maintaining flexibility to support a 24/7/365 operational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a sometimes fast-paced environment, and passion for weather storytelling.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Graphical Content Meteorologist supports the development, configuration, and deployment of graphical weather content across client systems and platforms. This role works cross-functionally across internal teams to ensure graphic templates are technically sound, accurate, and operationally ready for use. Key responsibilities include:

<li>Build and maintain libraries of graphical content by following established procedures, templates, and design standards</li>
<li>Assemble, update, and export client graphics as needed using existing or new templates, including find/replace workflows and custom builds when needed</li>
<li>Support Content Development Manager with the upgrade and installation process by assisting with mock-up generation for initial project kick-off calls, and fielding/managing change requests from initiation through final delivery.</li>
<li>Identify unique data setups/situations which have potential for advanced automation, and escalate/communicate these needs to the Content Development Manager for proper investigation and assignment</li>
<li>Coordinate with installers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of graphical assets ahead of installations</li>
<li>Maintain clear and active communication with installers throughout the installation process to ensure needs and requests are fielded and shared</li>
<li>Update and test default system builds on computer systems ahead of installation, ensuring all recently added default graphics are situated prior to installer arrival</li>
<li>Respond to miscellaneous station requests, including minor frame adjustments, font updates, and other small graphic changes</li>
<li>Assist in coordinating graphics releases such as phenomena explainers and other special content</li>
<li>Conceptualize, pitch, design, and develop graphical packages to help our customers tell an engaging story</li>
<li>Occasionally prepare informational presentations on data products/offerings for Webinars or Conferences, and present internal weather briefings to Baron staff</li>
<li>Adapt to a 24/7/365 operational environment – occasional schedule flexibility (including evenings, weekends, or emergencies) may be required</li>
