Maintenance Technicians are vital members of the Dancing Bear Aspen (DBA) team. The primary duty is to maintain DBA residences, common areas and back of house in a safe and proper working order. To respond to maintenance issues a timely manner.
Position Summary
To ensure all building and repair activities for both the interior and exterior of the property, including but not limited to all member residences, physical property systems, common and back of house areas. The Maintenance Department operates on a year-round basis. This is an hourly position. The requirements of this position may include working on the weekends and holidays and on-call duties after regular hours. Housing for the 2025-26 winter season is available with the expectation that you will find permanent housing at the end of the lease.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance Lead

Job Summary 
 Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, office facilities, and grounds.
Main Job Duties / Responsibilities
· Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times and participate in the Plant Safety Committee.
· Perform major overhauls, assembly, repairs, and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
· Design and build various accessories required for plant machinery and equipment.
· Test and operate repaired equipment for proper functionality.
· Participate in objective setting, plan development, and performance review of plant performance.
· Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
· Set new equipment and/or move equipment and reset as required.
· Report abnormal conditions of equipment plus facilities or grounds issues to the Production Manager.
· Perform minor welding on non-production items.
· Write purchase requisitions, as required.
· Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment (except heavy cranes) for the moving of material, components, and equipment from location to location within the plant.
· Perform general laborer duties as required (i.e. grinding, loading and unloading of trucks).
· Keep working area clean and perform housekeeping duties around the plant as required (i.e. pickup tools, roll-up hoses and cables, sweep).
· Address any office area mechanical or electrical issues as well as any grounds issues.
Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
· Requires working knowledge of machinery and equipment within the facility.
· Requires familiarity with tools and equipment used in the repair of machines and equipment.
· Capable of reading and understanding basic machine and equipment drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications.
· Capable of performing math computations involving decimals and fractions.
· Capable of lifting 50 lbs. up to waist.
· Requires 3 years minimum of job-related work experience.
· Registered electricians license preferred
· Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability required
· Exposure to inside and outside weather conditions.
· Exposure to dirty and greasy work environment.
· Close visual and mental attention required.
· Exposure to normal shop noises of grinding, chipping, high pressure gas burners, and repair operations.
· Heavy physical exertion required.

We are actively hiring experienced and dependable Armed Security Officers to work at various sites in the metro Detroit area.
New hires will be required to have CPR/First Aid/Narcan, De-escalation, and Situational Awareness Training, all of which will be provided ahead of the site(s).
Specific Duties and Essential Functions:

<li>Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle</li>
<li>Some sites will be concierge approach positions located inside the designated building</li>
<li>Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards</li>
<li>Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or the presence of unauthorized persons</li>
<li>Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles</li>
<li>Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits</li>
<li>Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements</li>
<li>Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities</li>
<li>Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.</li>

Requirements:

<li>Candidate must stay alert during shift work for periods of time with little outside stimuli and must have a good sense of judgment during difficult situations</li>

<li>Requires the use of your own cell phone</li>
