POSITION OVERVIEW
This position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for administrative and clinical direction of multiple direct service programs and services at BACS. This position oversees operations including clinical, administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement to promote the highest element of service provision. The position is responsible for successfully implementing new programs and services and adhering to our strategy and growth plan. This position completes regulatory applications, funding applications, and more to ensure new business. This position will actively engage with those in the community experiencing psychiatric distress. This position will oversee serene and home-like environments providing respite, individual and group therapy, family support, crisis management, and long-term plan for wellness and recovery. This position’s responsibilities will include travel throughout Alameda County.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions)
<ul>
<li>Independently directs programs and ensures all contracts, laws, and regulations are met.</li>
<li>Works as part of the Operations Group of all Associates to collectively run the operations of BACS programs.</li>
<li>Assures that services are provided in collaboration with all applicable funding streams and regulations.</li>
<li>Supervises managers and/or supervisors including hiring, training, and performance management.</li>
<li>Maintains responsibility for ensuring that all programs and services have a defined service delivery model and operate within the construct of BACS mission, vision, and values. <li>Ensures that there is a flow of participants and referrals into all programs and that discharges are managed in a way that promotes positive outcomes.</li>
<li>Responsible to assure the maintenance of records and other administrative requirements of all programs. Responsible to ensure compliance with documentation and charting requirements for all funding streams.</li>
<li>Responsible for Continuous Quality Improvement and works with the teams to implement systems for CQI.</li>
<li>Responsible to ensure contract compliance with all funders to include grant management, presentations and reports.</li>
<li>Establishes a harmonious working relationship with the community and coordinate services with appropriate community based organizations as needed to highlight the value and the purpose of programming.</li>
<li>Participates in the development of new programs and services including grant writing, speeches, presentations, and more.</li>
<li>Participates in the delivery and attendance at trainings for the purposes of agency, professional, and personal development.</li>

Responsibilities: The Residential Aide will:

<li>Monitor the area and provide resources to clients</li>
<li>Maintain a welcoming, safe, stable environment for clients</li>
<li>Make hourly rounds within and outside the facility to ensure safety and security</li>
<li>Incident management: Report and document incidents, crisis interventions, communicate with on-call management team</li>
<li>Record keeping including documentation of daily attendance, shift report, visitors, writing progress notes</li>
<li>Greet people entering the site, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations</li>
<li>Circulate among residents, visitors, or employees to preserve order and protect property</li>
<li>Complete intakes, and property searches as needed, distribute mail</li>
<li>Accept and log all food deliveries and serve meals to clients. Willingness to complete food safety course</li>
<li>Screen residents and visitors and packages to prevent passage of prohibited articles into residence</li>
<li>Provide relief support for 311 operations</li>
<li>Facilitate onsite laundry and shower resources for clients</li>
<li>Perform other related duties, as assigned</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2 years of related experience</li>
<li>High School Diploma / GED</li>
<li>Computer savvy</li>
<li>Microsoft Office proficient</li>
</ul>

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized care and attention to child(ren) with special needs, focusing on their unique developmental goals.
Implement and follow through with therapeutic strategies and techniques as recommended by therapists and other professionals, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
Develop and engage in structured and unstructured play activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Assist with daily routines, including feeding, dressing, bathing, and other personal care needs.
Foster a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the child(ren)'s well-being at all times.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child(ren)’s progress, challenges, and any significant observations.
Collaborate with other caregivers, educators, and therapists to maintain a consistent approach to care and development.
Manage and participate in sensory activities designed to enhance the child(ren)’s sensory processing skills.
Provide transportation to and from therapy sessions, school, and other activities as needed.
Encourage independence and support the child(ren) in developing life skills.
Adapt care to meet the changing needs of the child(ren) as they grow and develop.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
Relevant certifications or training in special education, autism development, or related fields (e.g., ABA certification, CPR/First Aid, etc.).
Strong understanding of developmental stages and challenges associated with autism.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to undergo background checks and provide references.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience with assistive technology and adaptive tools for children with special needs.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Experience working in a home-based therapy setting.
Work Schedule:
The position requires flexibility in hours. Evening and weekend work will be required depending on the family’s needs.
