Waldron Engineering and Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join its consulting team in the energy industry. This position is for a highly motivated individual who is interested in taking on a leading role in project coordination while also performing production design and drafting tasks on industrial power distribution and generation projects.
The successful candidate in this position will collaborate with a team of multi-discipline engineers and designers to develop comprehensive mechanical design documents for Combined Heat &amp; Power (CHP) plants, campus and/or district energy systems, municipal scale power generation facilities and renewable energy facilities. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of plant layout and installation drawings for mechanical equipment and process systems. MACHINE SHOP LABORER/APPRENTICE

Job Description
WeldFit is looking for a self-motivated candidate with experience to fill our CNC Machinist position. This position is responsible for operating the CNC Horizontal Boring Mill in the shop by performing the duties and responsibilities below.
<ul>
<li>Machine parts to specifications using machines such as Horizontal Boring Mills</li>
<li>Able to understand and edit G code and M code programs</li>
<li>Understand speeds and feeds for machining and proper set ups</li>
<li>Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as calipers and micrometers</li>
<li>Set up, adjust and operate all machines</li>
<li>Check work pieces to ensure alignment and materials onto machines</li>
<li>Clean lubricate machines as needed</li>
<li>Monitor the feed and speed of the CNC machines</li>
<li>Work and think safety at all times</li>
<li>Working M-F 6&nbsp;a.m. - 3 p.m. with overtime and weekends as necessary.</li>
</ul>
Education/Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Prior machine shop experience required</li>
<li>Must have at least 3 years of CNC machining</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to distinguish various colors / color coding</li>
<li>Ability to pass vision test</li>
<li>Willing to admit to hearing baseline test</li>
