Electromechanical Assembler

LOCATION: Milwaukie, OR
SALARY: $21-25/hr. DOE
SCHEDULE:Full-time, Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:00pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform mechanical and electronic assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
· Assemble, test, and repair production and prototype units according to specifications and schedules.
· Utilize soldering, adhesives, and various hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, tweezers, hammers) to build and maintain power technology modules.
· Interpret work orders, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards.
· Assist with inventory activities, including component organization and manufacturing kit preparation.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly preferred.
· IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 soldering certifications, with proven ability to solder small surface-mount components accurately and cleanly.
· Skilled in reading and interpreting detailed instructions, schematics, and technical drawings; microscope work may be required.
· Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed at an individual workstation in a light industrial setting. The role requires sitting or standing for extended periods, performing detailed manual tasks, and occasionally lifting materials up to 25 pounds.
