<li>Exhibits safe practice in the use of equipment. Does not use equipment until orientation about tits operation has been provided. Notifies supervisor of educational needs.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively by way of observing, recording, reporting and interpersonal relations with all members of the inter disciplinary team through verbal reports, participation in staff meetings, and team conferences, as requested.</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.</li>
<li>Attends in-service programs to meet compliance requirements. Identifies learning needs to agency supervisor.</li>
<li>Participates in monthly service- training to stay abreast &amp; knowledgeable of updates/ changes in the healthcare arena, while maintaining compliance with DHMH requirements and performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications and Education Requirements
<ul>
<li>Successful completion of a formal certification training program and / or written skills test and competency evaluation</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>
<li>Current unrestricted MD Certified Medication Technician License</li>
<li>Verify their capability to read, write and follow a written plan of care.</li>
<li>Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>High School diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>Criminal Background check</li>
<li>Current Driver’s License or ID Card</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills
<ul>
<li>Current CPR / 1st Aide Certification</li>
<li>Two years’ experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility</li>
