<li>Responds to resident calls, call pendant call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs RCC/LN when required.</li>
<li>Reports injury to resident, visitor and/or self to RCC/LN immediately and reports illness/change in resident condition to RCC/LN.</li>
<li>Provides a safe environment by cleaning and clearing walkways.</li>
<li>Maintains responsibility and in good condition assigned equipment: pagers, keys, name tags, and uniform where applicable</li>

Requirements:

<li>High School Diploma</li>
<li>Satisfactory completion of a Nurse's Aide Program</li>
<li>CNA Certification preferred.</li>
<li>Current medical/health screening including 2 step TB clearance.</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 months experience in long term care, healthcare, or work with the elderly preferred. Good command of English, both written and verbal. Must possess the verbal ability to communicate tactfully with guests, caregivers, visitors, physicians, government agencies / personnel and the general public. Able to meet the physical and emotional demands of providing resident care.</li>
<li>First Aid and CPR preferred. (can be done in-house).</li>
