Tools, Equipment, and Technology:
Scaffold builders must know and have previously worked with pliers, hammers, wrenches, lifting devices, safety equipment (belt, harness, etc.), man lifts, and high reach equipment.
 
Environmental Conditions:
Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc.

Job Title: Structural Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Structural Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers to develop innovative designs for signage and architectural branding elements. This position demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of building construction and metal fabrication.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Interface with Project Management to define customer requirements.</li>
<li>Develop fabrication methods based on renderings of final products.</li>
<li>Work closely with CADD Designers to fully document designs.</li>
<li>Resolve fabrication issues on the shop floor.</li>
<li>Update designs based on shop or engineering feedback.</li>
<li>Apply consistent logic to standardize sign families.</li>
<li>Reference past jobs to adapt or reuse design details.</li>
<li>Support Project Management in resolving technical issues in Production and in the field.</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills
<ul>
<li>Experience with technical drawings and AutoCAD or SolidWorks.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills and understanding of materials and manufacturing or construction.</li>
<li>Effective and practical design skills.</li>
<li>Understanding of UL48 and applicable Building Codes.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret architectural and structural building drawings.</li>
<li>Project risk recognition and mitigation skills.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Preferred knowledge of fabrication details, machine and material limitations.</li>
<li>Manufacturing experience.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment
This role involves working primarily in an office setting with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor to review products. It offers a dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to engage with diverse projects and collaborate with a skilled team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
