Job DescriptionRole: Salesforce Developer
Rate: $50/hour W2
Schedule: Fully Remote | EST Hours
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong technical expertise in Salesforce development and integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning UI, and Salesforce APIs, along with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop custom applications using Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration patterns (real-time, batch, sync/async).
- Utilize Salesforce declarative tools (change sets, process builder, visual workflow, validation rules, assignment rules).
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including test-driven development, QA, and deployment across environments (development/staging/production).
- Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Superior Salesforce development skills, including:
- Apex code/classes
- Visualforce
- REST APIs
- XML
- JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and platform architecture.
- Experience with Lightning UI development.
- Proficiency in Salesforce API framework and 3rd-party API integrations.
- Knowledge of MS .NET framework, C#, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with deployment cycles and formal QA environments.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Apex REST API, Developer Console, and custom reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
