Job DescriptionRig Up TechnicianThe Rig Up Technician is to perform various procedures related to equipment, to assist in inventory control, and to work with other shop team members in order to timely support the field team. As well as, to provide installation, repairs, and removal of Managed Pressure Devices (MPD) and other rental equipment during the peak customer demands to assist the account managers.EssentialFunctions:
- Roles&ResponsibilitieswithintheBase:
- Assist in preparing and loading jobs in addition to cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment.
- Perform work in accordance to standard operating procedures and ensure compliance to industry standards.
- Paint equipment in accordance to specifications
- Pick up/deliver parts as assigned by manager
- Operate crane and/or forklift to load and unload jobs.
- Clean, service, and refurbish tools as required by supervisor.
- Assembly and disassembly of tools relative to services provided per location.
- Maintain clean work environment
- Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Roles&ResponsibilitieswhilesupportingField:
- Perform installation services for Rotating Head Devices (RHD) and service tools in the field
- Knowledge of product lines, product applications and wellsite equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients by troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues
- Provide sound technical advice and products recommendations based on customers’ operational requirements
- Maintain the highest level of safety at all times
