Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team in the local government sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supervising staff, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining an efficient and organized environment.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage a team of staff to ensure daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee membership services and act as a liaison between management and members to address inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with vendor contractors to monitor the completion of tasks and facilitate the payment of invoices.
• Document and maintain processes to ensure consistency and accountability in day-to-day operations.
• Utilize software tools such as officeRND Flex to manage facility operations and streamline workflows.
• Provide support at the front desk, assisting with customer inquiries and ensuring excellent service.
• Organize and oversee the use of conference rooms and other facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and properly utilized.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies in all facility-related activities.
• Collaborate with management to address operational challenges and improve overall efficiency.
• Proven experience in facilities management or a related role, with strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and officeRND Flex software.
• Strong customer service skills and prior front desk experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and oversee contractor work.
• Familiarity with timekeeping systems such as Kronos is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle day-to-day operational challenges.
• Ability to work onsite in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and provide support during events as needed.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
