Project Scheduler Nuclear / Engineering Projects (Level 1 or Level 2)
Special Note: This position is posted at two levels. Only one position will be filled. Candidates should be submitted at the level they best qualify for. Maximum rate may vary by level.
Position Overview
The Project Scheduler supports Nuclear and Engineering Projects by developing, maintaining, and integrating detailed schedules for on line work, outage activities, enterprise risk initiatives, and life cycle projects. This role ensures schedules are accurate, compliant, and aligned with station procedures, Technical Specifications, and Maintenance Rule requirements. The Scheduler works closely with Project Managers, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to deliver timely, coherent, and risk informed schedules that support daily, outage, and long range planning.
Core Responsibilities (All Levels)
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for on line, outage, enterprise risk, and life cycle projects
• Perform schedule maintenance and ensure data integrity between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools
• Assist Project Managers with schedule development, updates, and conflict resolution
• Support refueling outage and biennial outage planning activities
• Maintain schedule accuracy, integrity, and compliance with station procedures
• Develop out year schedules for projects of varying size and complexity
• Apply industry best practices and standardized scheduling methodologies
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other plant organizations to develop integrated schedules
• Support risk management processes related to outage and on line work
• Generate and maintain scheduling and performance reports using Crystal Reports or SQL based tools

Level 1 Project Scheduler ($60/hr - $75/hr)
Required Education and Experience
One of the following is required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology plus 5 years of nuclear power generation experience
• Associate’s degree in a technical field plus 7 years of nuclear power generation experience
• High school diploma or GED plus 9 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineering, or quality role
Experience must be in operations, maintenance, engineering, technical project management, or quality assurance within a nuclear power generation environment.
Required Skills and Abilities
• Working knowledge of Primavera scheduling software
• Primavera 106 Training Certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience with Passport or similar work management systems
• Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and risk management processes
• Knowledge of work control processes and procedures
• Understanding of plant system impacts related to isolating, testing, and restoring equipment
• Basic experience with Crystal Reports or SQL based reporting tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
• PMP certification
• Reactor Operator License
• Proficiency in outage work management processes and procedures
• Experience with Primavera to Passport scheduling interfaces
• Crystal Reports or SQL based report development experience
Level 2 Project Scheduler ($75/hr - $82/hr)
Required Education and Experience
One of the following is required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology plus 8 years of nuclear power generation experience
• Associate’s degree in a technical field plus 10 years of nuclear power generation experience
• High school diploma or GED plus 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineering, or quality role
Experience must demonstrate advanced capability in nuclear project scheduling, outage planning, and work management.
Required Skills and Abilities
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera scheduling software and scheduling techniques
• Primavera 106 Training Certification or at least four years of experience using Primavera
• Advanced experience with Passport and Primavera system integration
• Advanced proficiency with Crystal Reports and database analysis
• Working knowledge of outage and on line risk management tools such as Paragon
• PMP certification
• Ability to solve complex scheduling conflicts and perform critical path analysis
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision making skills
Desired Qualifications
• Senior Reactor Operator License or certification
• Advanced knowledge of outage and on line work management processes
• Experience leading schedule review meetings and post work critiques
• Ability to coordinate resources and establish priorities across multiple organizations
• Experience interfacing directly with Operations during tagging and boundary determination
• Demonstrated leadership and performance management capability
