Title: First-Party Property Coverage Attorney
Compensation: Base $90K-$100K + Hours Bonuses up to $35K
Location: Hybrid - Charlotte, NC

Position Overview
The First-Party Property Coverage Attorney will be responsible for advising clients on insurance coverage issues, managing litigation related to first-party property claims, and developing strategies to resolve disputes in favor of the clients. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance law and the ability to interpret complex policy language.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on first-party property coverage issues
- Manage and litigate first-party property claims and disputes
- Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage rights and obligations
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration
- Stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends affecting insurance coverage
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in NC
- 2+ years of experience in insurance law, specifically in first-party property coverage
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
