About the Role
We are seeking a Paid Media Director to join the client's team and lead their world-class paid media efforts. This is a remote (work-from-home) leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of Account Managers, managing high-value client relationships, and driving profitable advertising performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, Google Ads expert, and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Paid Media Account Managers, ensuring high client satisfaction and campaign performance.
- Serve as the primary contact for high-value clients, overseeing account strategy, communication, and execution.
- Provide hands-on guidance and training to team members to help them grow and perform at their best.
- Develop and implement strategic paid media plans for lead generation and e-commerce campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms.
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to optimize client services and align cross-departmental efforts.
- Proactively identify issues, opportunities, and innovations to continuously improve performance and client ROI.
- Monitor campaign KPIs, audit performance, and ensure proper tracking and attribution are in place.
Requirements
Must Have
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads (interface, Google Ads Editor, bidding strategies, conversion tracking, campaign structure, etc.).
- Proven track record of creating and managing profitable campaigns for e-commerce and lead-gen businesses.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- A deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, CRO principles, and data-driven decision-making.
- Comfortable with a 60-day trial period to evaluate mutual fit.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other paid media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube Ads, etc.).
- Knowledge of CRM and automation tools related to ad campaign performance.
- Previous experience at a performance marketing or digital agency.
