Open to recent graduates - Training will be provided
- 40 hours per week, Temp-To-Perm Conversion after contract ends.
- Being able to work the weekends is a requirement.
- Contractor will have consecutive days off during the M-F portion of the week.
- The work is onsite at the Dry Creek facility in Centennial.
Responsible for multi-functional tasks within the Master Control Center. Has developed specialized knowledge/skills in own area. The position entail running live NBA games and process facilitating newly ingested content. To perform Master Control duties running live the upcoming 2025 NBA season at the end of the year.
Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Core Responsibilities
• Monitors and troubleshoots on-air video and audio signals, satellite transmissions, multiplexed signals and automation system operations, for multiple broadcast streams.
• Preps and maintains spots and programs database for air, assists with content encoding and ingestion and runs live shows and live cut-ins.
• Manages deployment and retrieval of insertion schedule and verification files and monitors commercial insertion system.
• Interacts with and provides service to the promo and traffic departments.
• Provides quality control and support to International services and clients.
• Assists in the organization and implementation of all channel branding effects on all of the network feeds.
• Performs relief, peak load or normal day-to-day technical duties as required.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a Master Control Operator role preferred
• 2-3 years of technical production experience preferred
• Experience with video or audio production
• Availability to work overnight or weekend swing shifts and holidays
