Job Description: As an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of residential properties. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and oversee the upkeep of apartment communities to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Conduct inspections and ensure all units meet quality standards.
- Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize work orders.
- Procure necessary materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control efforts.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Uphold safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in various maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or relevant certifications a plus).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum 3 yrs in apartment maintenance or similar exp
