Job Description

Job DescriptionSummary:
Develops and delivers training programs to English and Spanish speaking employees in the classroom and on the job to enhance the competencies of new hires and current employees that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with company’s core values. Position reports to the Training and Development Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves others by providing best practice training to Rosenboom employees; training focus is safety, quality, and efficiency as well as overall employee success.
  • Follows training schedule developed by the Training & Development Manager and schedules additional classes based on classroom and equipment availability.
  • Facilitates classroom and on-the-job instruction on a variety of training requirements as appropriate to curriculum and student needs.
  • Assists with the development of employee competency assessment strategies and verifies employee competency as appropriate; assessment strategies are likely to include formal classroom and on the job evaluations and worksite audits.
  • Documents and/or assists with the documentation of training process.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); relative manufacturing experience preferred; experience working with, and teaching others preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to three years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably hydraulic cylinder.
