Growing Premier Public Law Firm Seeking Land Use & Government Advice Attorney in San Francisco or Sacramento (Hybrid)
A growing public law firm with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Land Use & General Government Advice Attorney with 6-10+ years of experience in general municipal law, including housing, land use, and CEQA expertise, to join its growing practice in San Francisco or Sacramento. This position involves representing public agencies across California, including cities, counties, and special districts. This person will have experience with housing and land use law, CEQA, Brown Act, Public Records Act, and/or Political Reform Act.
Offer:
Salary range: $220,000-$250,000+ depending on experience

Qualifications:
6-10+ years of legal experience, preferably as lead attorney on client engagements
Expertise in housing and land use law, including CEQA
Foundation in general government law, including the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and Political Reform Act
Commitment to serving the public sector or public interest legal practice
Experience supervising associates and support staff
Comfort with public speaking at conferences, seminars, and client meetings
Responsibilities:
Serve as principal contact for public entity and nonprofit clients
Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation on municipal, housing, and land use matters
Staff public meetings and provide counsel on governance and compliance issues
Supervise and mentor legal professionals and support staff
Engage in business development, networking, and client relationship management
Contribute to the firm's leadership culture and mentorship initiatives
