What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with company and site procedures.
- Collaborate with local authorities and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
