Field Service Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician with expertise in both electrical/electronic and mechanical systems. We are also open to training the right candidate who has a basic understanding of these areas. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical/electronic ladder diagrams
- Ability to read mechanical ANSI/ISO prints
- Experience with PLC/HMI programming
- Willingness to travel to various locations, including local, out-of-state, and Canadian sites
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and self-management skills
Role and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and provide timely assistance
- Lead installations and tests, and offer operational guidance to customer technicians and operators
- Use diagnostic tools to identify technical malfunctions and challenges accurately
- Repair faulty or damaged mechanical components and manage the ordering process for necessary replacements
- Advocate for the company's technical services, emphasizing their benefits to clients
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently at customer sites, showcasing adaptability and self-reliance
- Effective time management skills for travel and on-site technical service
- Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules and shifts
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues based on technical descriptions provided by customers
