• Salary: up to 100k

Our client, an AV-rated civil defense firm, is seeking an experienced full-time litigation paralegal to join the team. The firm specializes in public entity and product liability defense.

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of California rules and court procedures
• 7+ years of Civil experience
• 7+ years of Trial preparation, exhibits, trial binders, (PREPARATION OF TRIAL SUBPOENAS, SCHEDULING TRIAL EXPERT MEETINGS AND DEPOSITIONS, experience
• STRONG DISCOVERY AND WRITING SKILLS
• Drafting pleadings, motions, judicial council forms, and other standard legal documents
• Responding to discovery requests and managing as well as organizing all.
• Strong knowledge of California rules, court/legal procedures, and substantive areas of law, particularly in the discovery process in civil litigation. Prepare document subpoenas.
• Review and summarize discovery responses and medical records.

• Liaison with outside counsel for discovery, trial, and deposition preparations
• Ability to adhere to strict time deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
