We're looking for an experienced RC-135 Test Director with proven expertise in contract management and a strong commitment to excellence in ISR operations.


If you hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph, this is your chance to take on a leadership role supporting one of the most vital airborne ISR programs in the nation.


Position Overview

As the Squadron Lead RJ Airborne Test Director (TD), you will lead test planning and execution for all RC-135 variants, including mission systems, communications, datalinks, and ground systems. In addition, you'll oversee and manage annual support contracts for 645AESS, ensuring technical excellence and mission-readiness at all times.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience with RC-135 systems, including sustainment and test
  • Current RC-135 flight qualification, Class III flight medical, and SME-level knowledge of ISR mission systems
  • Hands-on experience as an Airborne Mission Supervisor, Analyst, or Datalink Operator
  • Operational knowledge of DoD joint warfare and USAF logistics processes
  • Strong background in contract evaluation, oversight, and coordination
  • Instructor/evaluator experience highly desired


Core Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute flight and ground mission system testing for -135 variants
  • Serve as Stan Eval Flight Examiner and airborne instructor
  • Approve software changes and manage Software Anomaly Reports
  • Develop and manage training materials and operational readiness guides
  • Lead all contract technical evaluations, including performance, deliverables, and integration
  • Collaborate with Gov't CO, 645AESS engineers, and the Prime Contractor on contract execution
  • Conduct Technical Interchange Meetings, Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews
  • Provide real-time flight test leadership as government Test Director
  • Ensure user community receives technically sound and mission-capable system deliveries
