Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a licensed and experienced School Psychologist to support an elementary school setting. This role is based in Surprise, AZ, and offers the chance to apply specialized skills in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments for students K-6 to identify learning needs and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students to promote academic and social success.
- Assist in crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with state and district regulations regarding psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license.
- Proven experience working in elementary school settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing tools and assessment procedures.
- Effective munication and collaboration skills with diverse student populations, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adhere to deadlines.
