We are a well-established Nevada law firm dedicated to providing high-quality legal services while maintaining a secure, efficient, and modern technology environment. We are seeking a reliable and experienced In-House IT Specialist to manage and support our firm’s technology infrastructure.

Position Overview
The In-House IT Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of the firm’s IT systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys working directly with end users, solving problems, and ensuring technology supports business operations in a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to attorneys and staff (hardware, software, and network issues)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot workstations, servers, printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security (Microsoft 365, email, file access)
  • Oversee network infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery systems
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and managed service providers as needed
  • Assist with technology upgrades, software implementations, and IT documentation
  • Support legal-specific software (case management, document management, e-discovery tools)

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support or systems administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices, backups, and data protection
  • Familiarity with legal or professional services environments preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience supporting law firms or legal software
  • Knowledge of remote access solutions
  • IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
