LHH is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their client’s dynamic legal team focused on corporate governance and franchise law. This role offers the opportunity to support high-impact legal operations involving complex transactions and multi-jurisdictional compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft and maintain Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), including updates, renewals, and state registration coordination

  • Prepare and file franchise-related documents and manage regulator correspondence

  • Support corporate governance by drafting operating agreements, bylaws, resolutions, and maintaining minute books

  • Ensure compliance across multiple states through annual report filings and license renewals

  • Conduct due diligence for transactions, including reviewing franchise agreements and corporate records

  • Track deadlines and manage calendars for franchise renewals, filings, and governance obligations

Who You Are

  • A paralegal with 3+ years of experience in franchise law and corporate governance

  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate

  • Knowledgeable in the FTC Franchise Rule and state-specific registration requirements

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
