Legal Assistant – Trusts and Estates

$65,000 – $80,000

An established law firm is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to support its Trusts and Estates Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience managing legal documentation, providing administrative support to attorneys, and interacting with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, proofread, and manage legal documents and court filings

  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate travel

  • Attend client meetings to witness estate planning document signings

  • Process billing and maintain confidential legal and administrative files

  • Provide general support to attorneys and other legal staff

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in Trusts & Estates

  • Typing speed of at least 70 WPM

  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, redlining, and digital dictation tools

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
