A K-12 school in Pasadena, TX, is seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to provide prehensive psychological services for the uping school year under a contract position. This role involves supporting the mental health and learning needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to enhance student success
- Provide counseling and support services to address academic, social, and emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Valid LSSP certification/license in the state of Texas
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain thorough documentation
