Our client in the tech industry is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to support their Field and Partner teams with the following:
- Storytelling: Create and deliver compelling communications that tell Okta’s story, engage the Field and Partner teams, and align with Okta's vision.
- Develop and execute innovative communication strategies for the Field and Partner teams, enhancing engagement and alignment.
- Develop executive messaging for strategic programs and events, including speeches, keynote presentations, and talking points.
- Contribute to the successful planning and execution of strategic events, such as Okta's Partner Summit at Oktane and quarterly All Hands, supporting key milestones, communications, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications and business leaders to ensure alignment on messaging, timing, and editorial strategy.
- Manage and streamline functional communications requests for the Field and Partner teams, such as organizational changes, new tools or processes, product announcements, and enablement communications.
- Evolve existing communication channels and develop new ones to ensure effective, multi-directional communication across teams.
- Write and edit high-quality content across various channels, including email, presentations, intranet articles, Slack messages, and video scripts.
- Balance proactive communication planning with the flexibility to address urgent business needs.
- Maintain a communication calendar in Asana, track key metrics, and contribute to quarterly reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of communications experience, with a focus on internal and executive communications.
- Experience in high-growth technology environments and familiarity with Field and Partner audiences (e.g., Sales, Partners & Alliances, Customer Success).
- Proven storytelling ability to craft impactful messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills (Google Slides expertise preferred).
- Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working with senior executives globally and supporting their communication needs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours to accommodate global teams.
Benefits
Compensation Range: $65-75/hr
