At Percy, we’re building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to help lead operations at a 600+ unit mixed-income community in Chicago, IL.
This is a prime opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader with at least two years of supervisory experience who thrives in a complex, high-occupancy environment. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, team leadership and training, and partner with a second Maintenance Supervisor across two distinct phases that range from historic buildings to recently built assets. You’ll have the chance to standardize processes, elevate service, manage turns and preventive maintenance, and support projects across a diverse property footprint.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations for one phase of a 600+ unit mixed-income property, including on-call rotation
- Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and service
- Manage work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination using basic computer tools/CMMS
- Support code, REAC, and program compliance for market-rate, affordable, and CHA units; prepare for inspections
- Partner with the other Maintenance Supervisor and site leadership to plan budgets, CapEx, and project work across older and newer buildings
Qualifications
- 2+ years of residential maintenance supervisor experience
- Comfortable performing hands-on repairs across basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and carpentry
- Strong computer aptitude for email, work order systems, inventory, and reporting
- Proven leadership and training ability to elevate team performance
- Experience in mixed-income or affordable housing environments preferred
