We are seeking Systems Administrators who wish to build their skills and focus on tackling the most difficult challenges of the US Government, in one of the most exciting areas of the mission available. Requirements:

What You’ll Be Doing (We don’t love the bullet points, but we love the work!)


As the SA you'll be part of a team providing network management and systems administration to maintain the systems infrastructure and development environment. Shall perform implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, which may require a bottomless cup of coffee for troubleshooting when the tech gremlins come knocking, as it is imperative for identifying and resolving issues, problems, and trouble tickets associated with these responsibilities. Of course, while navigating this role of bytes and bits, laughter truly is the best tool for overcoming obstacles.


You will get to manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability; Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures; and Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems. All being critical to the success of the customer and the overall mission at large.


Required Skills

  • Experience with both Windows and Linux
  • Windows and Linux patching
  • VMware/ESXi
  • Networking Switch- VLAN setup and VMware virtual NIC config for isolation
  • Active Directory configuration and support
  • Hardware and Operating System troubleshooting
  • Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements
  • STIG hardening recommendations


Desired Skills

  • Automation using Ansible, Python, and Bash
  • CI/CD Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
  • Containerization with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Swarm
  • Container registries (Docker Hub, Google Container Registry),
  • Cloud-based logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus)
  • Fluent in sarcasm, kindness, and the occasional office banter

Qualifications

  • 5-15 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. CCNA-Security, Security+, Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
