Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join a precision manufacturing and service team. This role involves hands-on mechanical service and repair of measurement equipment, both in-house and in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical service and repairs on precision measurement equipment
- Conduct factory warranty repairs and software updates
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues and job status
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all service jobs
- Support office maintenance tasks as needed
Must-Have Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Fine motor skills for assembly and service
- Basic computer skills (email, web browser, accounting software)
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Field service experience
- Preventive maintenance knowledge
Work Environment:
- On-site role in a hands-on technical service setting
- Collaborative and customer-focused team environment
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
