JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: Laser Operator
Location: Greenville, CA 29611
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Monday through Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prints Bar Codes and at times other Black Numbers that cannot be printed on the presses.
- Responsible for printing bar codes on the paper stock of the forms.
- Use the original copy to be sure that the bar code is placed in the proper position.
- Maintain the lasers by following the maintenance chart for consumables and performing appropriate PM duties.
- Maintain inventory of materials and spare parts necessary to keep laser printers operational. Submits reorder requests for consumables.
- Assure compliance with safety and health regulations and good housekeeping practices within assigned areas, as well as compliance with all quality specifications.
- Maintain all required documentation of work performed and ensure that all forms and materials are labeled properly.
- Scan the bar codes every 1000 forms to ensure reading correctly.
- Responsible for maintaining all records and for labeling the rolls that come from the laser. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Responsible for the operation of separate "Piggyback” label operation equipment and "Piggyback” label application to printed forms.

Skills:
- Temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment with large printing and related equipment.
- Laser/Labeling Department, clean environment, materials nearby and orderly.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, squatting, leaning, climbing stairs and ability to lift 40 pounds.
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
