Summary
We’re seeking a skilled RF Technician to join our growing team. This role involves hands-on installation, diagnostics, and design of BDA/DAS systems and other wireless communication technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair radio communication systems including:
- Low Band, VHF/UHF, 800/900 MHz analog/digital systems
- Simulcast, trunking, paging, telemetry, and microwave systems
- Base stations, repeaters, remote controls, multiplexers, antenna systems
- Dispatch consoles, PA systems, BDA/DAS systems, and solar-powered systems
- ️ Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting using industry-standard test equipment (service monitors, watt meters, analyzers)
- Program and configure radio systems, including Linked Capacity Plus & Site Connect Technologies
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team leadership
- ️ Maintain documentation and provide technical support for installed systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in radio and wireless communications
- Strong understanding of two-way radio theory and RF principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and radio programming software
- Familiarity with battery backup systems, multicouplers, duplexers, and basic networking
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in the field
Education & Experience
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in electronic communications repair (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Preferred Certifications
- FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL)
- CET (Certified Electronics Technician – ETA)
- NICET Level 2
- 06 Journey Level or Trainee Electrician License
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check

- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on customer needs)
