Real Estate Manager. Savory Fund. Draper, UT.

Savory Fund is growing a multi-brand restaurant portfolio. You will help us choose the right markets, pick the right corners, and open on time with returns that match the underwriting. This role partners with brand leaders and the development team from the first trade area map to the postmortem review.

What you will own

  • Work with the VP of Real Estate and brokers to evaluate sites and build real estate approval packets for the Investment Committee and Board review.
  • Support white space analysis and market planning for each brand.
  • Assist with unit-level financial modeling, CAPEX budgeting, and rollout forecasting.
  • Transition approved sites to the Development team and align on timelines, budgets, and lease requirements.
  • Conduct post-mortem reviews for each new location to evaluate performance against underwriting expectations.
  • Collaborate with Investment, Development, Operations, and brand leadership teams to ensure coordinated execution.

What you bring

  • 3 to 7 years in restaurant or retail real estate, with direct site-selection experience.
  • Strong analytical skill set and clean presentations that enable fast decisions.
  • Comfort working with brokers, landlords, and multi-unit growth plans.
  • Practical knowledge of market planning, trade area analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Clear communicator who can influence across Investment, Development, Operations, and brand leadership.
  • Tools. Strong in Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CoStar, Placer.ai, ESRI, Kalibrate, or similar is a plus.

How success is measured

  • Pipeline health. Priority markets mapped. Target lists built and refreshed.
  • Speed to decision. Complete and accurate packets that move through approval on time.
  • Unit economics. Sites that meet return hurdles against the model.
  • Execution. On-time handoffs. Few surprises at permit, buildout, or turnover.
  • Learning loop. Actionable postmortems that improve the next site.
