Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Movement & Lot Organization
- Safely move, park, and retrieve vehicles throughout the lot, service drive, and showroom.
- Stage new and used vehicles neatly, following dealership display standards.
- Reorganize lot inventory daily for maximum visibility and safety.
- Transport vehicles between service, sales, storage areas, auctions, and off-site lots.
- Support dealer trades by shuttling vehicles to and from other dealerships.
- Deliver sold vehicles to prep areas and assist with customer deliveries.
- Help control vehicle traffic flow during peak hours.
Vehicle Prep, Inspection & Maintenance
- Verify VINs and accessories against invoices and transport sheets.
- Place window stickers, buyer’s guides, stock tags, and disclaimers on vehicles.
- Start and maintain stored vehicles to prevent deterioration (batteries).
- Support Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) processes to ensure vehicles are road-ready.
- Maintain demo units and service loaners in clean, professional condition.
Sales & Customer Service Support
- Greet customers professionally on the lot and service drive.
- Escort customers to their vehicles during pickup or delivery.
- Assist sales consultants during test drives, walkarounds, and presentations.
- Deliver sold vehicles, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and staged.
- Provide shuttle service for customers as needed.
- Offer valet-style assistance during busy hours and special events.
- Direct customer questions to the appropriate team member.
Lot, Facility & Showroom Maintenance
- Keep dealership lots, driveways, and walkways clear of debris and hazards.
- Maintain showroom vehicles daily (wipe-downs, vacuuming, dusting).
- Clean service drive areas, restrooms, waiting lounge, and beverage stations.
- Set up and break down meeting rooms or dealership event spaces.
- Monitor cleaning and yard equipment, reporting service needs to management.
Administrative & Compliance
- Catalog and store vehicle keys securely; maintain accurate key logs.
- Record damage reports and list missing items on delivery receipts.
- Run dealership errands (parts runs, paperwork, bank deposits, etc.).
- Support dealership security efforts by locking vehicles and facilities after hours.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
