As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing process. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios on a wide range of projects. Together with an experienced mentor, you will contribute to ongoing projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in various stages of the manufacturing lifecycle. Your mentor will guide and coach you to ensure this experience helps prepare you for a career in manufacturing.

Manufacturing Engineer Intern Essential Functions:

  • Conduct process audits and time studies
  • Revise and create work instructions, job breakdowns, and standard work documents.
  • Review and analyze daily production data, part routings, bill of materials (BOM), and costs.
  • Assist in addressing production issues.
  • Support capital projects

Manufacturing Engineer Intern Qualifications:

  • Second year of associate or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of CAD (Computer Aided Design)
  • Read and interpret technical documents and machine and part drawings.
