Summary:

The Software Engineer will be responsible for working on projects that are currently being developed by Qmulos. Duties will include but are not limited to developing and directing software system validation and testing methods, as well as directing our software programming initiatives. This role will also be working closely with cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop the front-end and back-end components for key features in the portfolio of Qmulos’ cybersecurity products
  • Develop and maintain a strong domain understanding of cybersecurity and compliance to develop innovative solutions that supports customers’ use cases
  • Apply sound software engineering principles and technologies to develop quality software
  • Perform all necessary tasks of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and support) with minimal guidance

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • U.S. Citizenship able to work on FAR subpart 25.4
  • Software development experience with enterprise web applications
  • Develop projects with U/X technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript (JQuery, React, Angular, Vue, etc.), CSS
  • Comfortable with back-end with technologies such as RESTful APIs, Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Comfortable working with Big Data, streaming, and search technologies, e.g. Hadoop, MongoDB, Spark, Kafka, Splunk, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch
  • Excellent understanding of UX/UI design principles
  • Experience developing intuitive user interfaces for complex enterprise applications
  • Experience developing accessible, Section 508-compliant user interfaces
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience with modern development tools and processes, e.g. source control (Git), build tools, continuous integration (Jenkins), test automation (e.g. TestNG, Junit, Selenium, Cypress)
  • Educational requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or 4 years of technical experience in lieu of degree.


Salary Range & Benefits

The annual base salary range for this full-time position in the United States is $100,000 - $130,000 and is a good faith estimate only.
