Position: Engineering & Estimating Specialist

Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and excited to grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven industry? We’re looking for a motivated Engineering & Estimating Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on precision, and wants to play a key part in delivering high-quality security and AV integration solutions.

What You’ll Do
• Develop accurate project estimates and proposals for security, surveillance, access control, audio/video, and smart integration projects.
• Collaborate with the sales and design teams to review plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide general technical support during the sales and planning process to ensure solutions are accurate and cost-effective.
• Assist with engineering design documentation, system schematics, and parts lists.
• Review vendor pricing and product specifications to optimize project designs.
• Support the project management team with handoffs and documentation for smooth installations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AV, automation, and security technologies.

What We’re Looking For
• A strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of security and AV systems (alarm, access control, CCTV, distributed audio, control systems, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CAD/Visio experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Previous estimating, engineering, or integration industry experience preferred but not required.
