Job DescriptionCommercial Employees is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a Pittsburgh (Swissvale) glass manufacturer. Hourly pay rate of $23 and higher based on experience. Weekly pay and strong benefits available. Industrial Maintenance Technician Role:
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Maintain building environment including heating, ventilation, and basic plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and replace faulty electronic components (220 / 480 volt-three phase systems)
- Fabricate fixtures, gauges, and necessary parts for machinery and equipment
- Maintain equipment to manufacturer or company specification in order to meet internal and external customer needs
Industrial Maintenance Technician Background:
- High School or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Technical school certification in Industrial / Mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Three-phase electrical experience strongly preferred
- Welding and HVAC experience a plus
- Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Must be able to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Must be available for call-in and overtime shifts as needed
