We are looking for a motivated field service specialist to support customers across the US with technical support and onsite service. You will be part of a dynamic team, ensuring smooth installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of advanced instrumentation. Expect up to 75-90% travel, including some consecutive overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide onsite and remote technical support for customers
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues with advanced instrumentation and computer systems.
· Perform product installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
· Manage service cases and maintain accurate records using ServiceMax.
· Train customers on equipment usage and maintenance.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, R&D, and production, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
· Strong background in electronics and computer systems, with hands-on experience in PC repair and operating systems.
· 1-3 years of experience in a technical or field service role.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both hardware and software issues.
· Willingness to travel extensively, including consecutive overnight stays
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency with Word, Excel, SAP, and Salesforce is a plus.
· Knowledge of optical systems, or spectroscopy preferred but not required.
