A leading general contractor is seeking an experienced Field Commissioning Engineer to drive quality control, startup readiness, and commissioning efforts on large-scale, high-tech construction projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership in field coordination, and the ability to ensure systems operate safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead commissioning and startup activities, ensuring subcontractor schedules and system readiness align with project requirements.

Oversee QA/QC programs, perform inspections, and facilitate startup/coordination meetings with multiple stakeholders.

Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and construction managers to resolve complex commissioning challenges.

Verify documentation, conduct system training for owners, and ensure safety standards are met prior to operation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years in commissioning/project management, preferably within industrial or high-tech/semiconductor projects.

Strong technical knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, QA/QC processes, and startup operations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore, P6, E-Builder), and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
Location: Amarillo, TX (100% Onsite)
Salary: $109K – $151K (DOE)
Bonus: Two annual bonuses (Individual & Company) + SAUs (Stock Appreciation Units)
Per Diem: $160/day (non-taxable, begins once onsite; covers travel-related costs) -No company vehicle or gas card provided
