Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will provide first-level technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operations and resolving IT-related issues efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to work onsite and collaborate with a dedicated team while honing your technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 support to end users, addressing technical issues and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
• Utilize ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve support requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with tasks related to Microsoft Office 365, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic networking tasks such as installing and configuring switches.
• Collaborate closely with team members, including network administrators and programmers, to ensure seamless IT operations.
• Maintain and manage desktop hardware and software, ensuring all systems are up-to-date.
• Deliver excellent customer service to employees at all levels, maintaining a meticulous and approachable demeanor.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to future projects, such as Office 365 migrations and cloud application implementations.
• Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring security and compliance in all IT-related activities.• Strong experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including troubleshooting and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with desktop hardware and related tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and support ticket management.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including switch installation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
