Industrial Maintenance Shift Info

Night shift
Industrial Maintenance Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
-
Maintain machines and equipment at their optimum performance level.
-
Disassemble and clean machines, machine parts, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to minimize breakdown.
-
Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical and electrical systems. Facilitate production by all means available.

Use/repair/ maintain hand tools, power tools, fasteners, drills & taps

Apply plumbing and pipefitting skills as needed (i.e piping layouts, cutting & threading pipe, air piping, water piping & hydraulic piping

Utilize electrical skills as needed (AC/DC basics, NEC wiring rules, troubleshooting AC/DC wiring circuits, industrial wiring components, control panel layout & wiring and solid state circuits & wiring)

As needed use welding and brazing skills (welding rods & heats, AC/DC arc welding, use of oxygen/acetylene torch and silver solder)

Operate spray paint gun, paint brush, mix and apply paints
Industrial Maintenance Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

Required knowledge of 480v
-
Advanced understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics

Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems
-
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
-
Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician is required
