Facility Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by ensuring that all building systems and equipment are functioning efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and working with CMMS software to manage work orders and track maintenance history.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, lighting, and other facility equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Use CMMS software to open, close, and document work orders; maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls to minimize downtime

• Assist with facility upgrades, space planning, and equipment installations

• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance and repair work

• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards

• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and repair supplies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field

• Proficiency in using CMMS software for tracking and managing maintenance tasks

• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and plumbing repairs

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical maintenance preferred

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Full-time position; may require occasional weekends or after-hours availability for emergency repairs

• Physically demanding role involving lifting, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces
