Role Summary
The Manager, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Operations is responsible for the design, delivery, and operation of the global technology foundation for Carey International Group’s portfolio companies, including cloud platforms, networks, end-user services, remote field support, and IT service management. This role ensures resilient, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure supporting mission-critical processes from airline operations to hotel guest services and manufacturing lines of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, architecture, and operations for core infrastructure: networks, servers, storage, cloud, collaboration, and end-user platforms.
- Own IT service management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, change, and asset management, with clear SLAs and performance metrics.
- Manage hybrid cloud environments and modernization initiatives such as SD-WAN, virtualization, and automation of infrastructure services.
- Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing with Cybersecurity and business units.
- Lead global operations teams, including service desk, infrastructure engineering, and platform operations.
- Oversee infrastructure-related vendor contracts, licensing, and budget optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or related business degree a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations leadership in complex, multi-site organizations.
- Demonstrated success managing global teams and delivering highly-available services.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, enterprise networking, and ITSM/ITIL.
- Strong customer-centric mindset balanced with operational rigor.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- ITIL certification and exposure to DevOps and automation practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with senior business leaders across diverse industries.
Track record of driving new technologies, standardization, and cost optimization across infrastructure portfolios.
