Do you have a passion for keeping landscapes lush and green? Are you a skilled leader with a knack for getting things done? If so, then this Irrigation & Enhancement Foreman position might be perfect for you!

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, while also leading a crew in enhancing and beautifying outdoor spaces. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring efficient water usage and the overall health of our clients' landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • Irrigation Systems:
    • Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, pumps, timers, and controllers.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system malfunctions.
    • Perform regular system inspections and ensure proper water distribution.
    • Oversee winterization and spring start-up of irrigation systems.
  • Landscape Enhancements:
    • Lead a crew in performing various landscape enhancement tasks, such as planting, mulching, edging, and tree trimming.
    • Oversee proper fertilization and weed control practices.
    • Identify potential landscape problems and develop solutions.
  • Crew Leadership:
    • Provide clear instructions and delegate tasks effectively to crew members.
    • Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
    • Motivate and train crew members.
    • Maintain accurate records of crew time and materials used.
  • Communication and Customer Service:
    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding irrigation systems and landscape enhancements.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
    • Provide recommendations for improving water efficiency and landscape health.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in irrigation and landscaping.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including components, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Experience working with a crew and proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
