We are seeking a dedicated Technician to perform daily evaluations and approvals of finished products, process quality checks, and routine product testing. This role requires responsible operating equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation. The Technician will conduct ingredient inspections, packaging inspections, inventory control, and maintain sample archives. Accurate recording of test results and effective communication with operating departments and management are crucial. The role also involves performing in-process quality checks, collecting test samples, troubleshooting equipment, and performing mechanical maintenance. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily evaluation and approval of finished products and process quality checks.
- Conduct basic microbiological testing.
- Calibrate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and calculate dilutions.
- Inspect ingredients and packaging, manage inventory, and maintain sample archives.
- Conduct laboratory tests including solvent extraction, sieving, pH etc.
- Test raw ingredients and finished packaged products.
- Record test results and communicate with operating departments and management.
- Perform in-process quality checks and collect test samples.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform mechanical maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
Essential Skills
- 0-2 years of production experience.
- Background in food manufacturing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
