Robert Half Legal is partnering with a national firm that's seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5+ years of experience of complex litigation to join their team. This firm represents domestic and foreign air carrier and aerospace manufacturers with bodily injury, wrongful death, commercial, insurance and reinsurance disputes. In this role, you will defend insurers and insureds against claims in commercial transportation, maritime/admiralty, auto, premises liability, subrogation and product liability matters. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills with experience drafting responses to discovery, taking depositions, and have experience with federal courts. Salary is between $120-145K plus bonus and full benefits. This position will be working in-office in the firm's downtown Chicago location. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the company's comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k (plus match), LT/ST Disability, Life Insurance, and more.

- JD and Licensed in IL
- 2-5+ years of experience
- Experience with complex insurance defense, transportation/railroad, or aviation/aerospace litigation preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Exceptional writing skills
