TSK Housing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks across the community, including completion of work orders, unit turnovers, and preventive maintenance. Candidates with experience in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests and work orders
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of apartments and common areas
- Complete unit turns, including painting, cleaning, and minor renovations
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Conduct routine property inspections and preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and inventory of materials used
- Participate in on-call rotation and handle after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance or property management experience required
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- HVAC certification or other relevant trade certifications are a plus
